#3. I will make a shake every lunch with lots of fruit, vegetables and fats and this will be the first thing I eat each day. Unless we are doing brunch at home, get invited out, or we are eating together at work. (Basically I had no excuse during the week and on most weekend days) but I allowed for flexibility to still be able to eat breakfast/brunch or lunch because I love these things and I know I fail if I get to rigid. The only way I will be able to stick to this is by adding a negative consequence to it. If I fail to have only a shake each day before noon unless under reasonable extenuating circumstances I will first consume before any other meal a glass of half milk and half vinegar (Im not sure what this would taste like but the thought of it repulsed me).
My typical shake consists of cashews or almonds, a banana, frozen spinach or kale, frozen berries, water and peanut butter, we mix in a Vitamix and I make enough for 2 of us. I don’t worry about portions with the shake, my main goal is just consuming a bunch of nutrients that I believe are good for me to consume.
