Call it 16-8 or intermittent fasting……for me it is just not eating breakfast most days. Then consuming my first calories (including cream in coffee) around noon. Technically this creates a window of time where I consume everything I am going to consume for the day.
Pareto’s Law is (to paraphrase) 80% of our results come from 20% of our efforts. For me this is “Difference that made the Difference”. This is part of my 20% that has made a huge difference in my life. I have actually been doing this for about 3 months already. Although I am not sure how much weight I have lost because I don’t have a weight scale. I have had to cut a new hole in my belt because my pants were now becoming too loose. I haven’t changed how much I have eaten or the foods I am eating………just the times I consume at.
As with everything else I am adding into my life, I allow for flexibility…….if I feel like eating bacon and eggs or having a brunch or a baileys and coffee, I do it. However, for most days of the week I have been diligent in following this. This so far has made the biggest difference in my health because the results are obvious and measurable.
