I set out last month to start a new habit and tie in a failing habit. My plan was to start being in bed before 930 and to just read when I am in bed with lights out at 10 (or shortly after) which would allow me to wake up every morning at 6am with 8 hours of sleep.
I am very happy with my lasts months goals, not only have I consistently been going to bed reading but I have also been getting out of bed at 6 also. It feels good to have added both of these small things into my life. Waking up at 6am has been great. It has allowed me to start my day on my terms. I start with a coffee and an hour to relax or to just slowly ease into the day, but with that being said………
I think my next 27days will be how I want my morning routine to look. I have been browsing the internet and just generally wasting time with fluff. I think I would like to use the first hour of my day to read or build on what I have already.
